Exploring the virtues of XRootD5: Declarative API

Across the years, being backbone of numerous data management solutions used within WLCG collaboration, XRootD framework and protocol became one most important building blocks for storage in High Energy Physics (HEP) community. The latest big milestone project, release 5, introduced multitude architectural improvements functional enhancements, including new client side declarative API, which is main focus this study. In contribution, we give an overview API discuss its motivation positive impact on overall software quality (coupling, cohesion), readability composability.
